Clinic Volunteer Vacancy

Can you spare two and a half hours per week to help us at the Disney Animal Clinic?

We need you to help on reception – answering the telephone, making appointments, welcoming visitors etc.

If you can help, PLEASE telephone the clinic on the above telephone number

(a message can be left on the answer-phone out-of-hours).

THANK YOU!

(Ref.1)

The clinic is situated on the Roundswell Commercial Park at 7 Brannam Crescent. This is after the McDonalds, Staples, Carpetright, MFI and Dixons turning.

There is a bus service to nearby Sainsbury's and a limited number of parking spaces outside the clinic.

The clinic opens:

Monday & Wednesday 1.30 – 4.00pm

Friday 9.30am - 12 Noon.

(Ref.2)

The Disney Animal Clinic was set up to assist animals whose owners are on benefits or low incomes and have difficulty paying for private health care for their pets.

We operate an almoning system to ensure that our funds are used for the most needy animals.

No treatment is offered entirely free of charge, as we like to encourage responsible ownership and most owners like to feel they are contributing to the health and welfare of their pet.

(Ref.3)

All clinic services are heavily subsidised by the RSPCA North Devon Branch.

If we have to refer animals to private vets for treatment, x-rays or tests that we are unable to do, help may be available from our Welfare Assistance Scheme.
